Digital Devices-- YES AGAIN!
Many of you have different opinions about bringing digital devices to school. If you could bring ONE digital device to school to help you learn, what would it be? How would that device help you learn? (For example, if you pick an I-Phone, I am curious to know how an I-Phone might help you learn? What could you use it for?)
Summer Fun
What is everyone planning for the summer? If you could pick one thing to help you continue learning over the summer, what would it be?

Choice in Reading
Does your teacher give you a choice in reading assignments in your language arts class? If so, do you like that? If not, should kids get some choice?
Nice Somethings
Has your teacher ever done something for you that was really nice-- something he/she didn't have to do? Do you think it made you try harder in class for that teacher?
Outside the Classroom Walls
Student schedules- both inside and outside of school- can be quite crazy! From work to co and extra curricular activities-- it seems like there is never enough time to do everything you want (or need) to do. If the SBISD were to offer classes on-line through a virtual academy, would you sign up for at least one class? If so, why---if not, why not?

Personal Digital Devices at School
Some adults are worried that when kids bring their cell phones, I- Touches, computers, etc. to class, they won't pay attention. Are you worried about this? If you are worried, why? If you are not worried, why are people worried about this?
Are you ready to go to the next grade level?
What experiences did you have this year that got you ready to go to the next grade level? For example: what did you learn, what activities did you do, did anyone talk to you about what next year will be like?
Think
I was at an awards ceremony last night and a student said, "The teachers at this school really inspire me to think for myself." What kind of things can teachers do to make you think?
