So- I understand that most of you are texting in class without the teacher knowing it? Impressive! Is this true? Would you day most kids are doing this?

Do you ever feel like you are beating your head against a wall trying to get an adult to see things the same way you see them? Have you ever had an idea that you think is great but NO ONE will listen to you?

When you want the rules to change(dress code, cell phones in class, etc) what do you do? How do you talk to your teachers or principals to get them to understand your point of view?

I have heard from lots of you about how you would like us to create ways for you all to be in clubs, sports and other cool stuff after school. Can you tell me what kinds of clubs or sports or other stuff you would like your school to have? If you can tell me the school you go to, that would be great! That way I could tell your principal- you don't have to say your name unless you want to.

Many of you have commented on what you would like to be when you get older. I have read LOTS of cool comments on career choices.

If we could create your very favorite school or academy where you could go to school and take classes that really interest you, where would you choose to go? For example, would you go to a Music Academy so you could learn to sing or play an instrument? Would you go to a Dance Academy so you could learn to dance different ways? Would you go to a Science and Math Academy so you could learn to be scientists, doctors or astronauts? Would you go to a Leadership Academy so you could be the next President? Student schedules- both inside and outside of school- can be quite crazy! From work to co and extra curricular activities-- it seems like there is never enough time to do everything you want (or need) to do. If the SBISD were to offer classes on-line through a virtual academy, would you sign up for at least one class? If so, why---if not, why not?

Some adults are worried that when kids bring their cell phones, I- Touches, computers, etc. to class, they won't pay attention. Are you worried about this? If you are worried, why? If you are not worried, why are people worried about this?
